·     Howard Coker presently serves as President of the Board of the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens

·     Howard Coker is a member of the Board of Directors of the Spina Bifida Association of Jacksonville and is a Life Sponsor of Florida Ducks Unlimited

·     Jake Schickel is Chairman of the Center for WorkForce Development and Past Chairman of the Board, and current board member for WorkSource

·     Jake Schickel is the Past President of the Jacksonville Chamber Foundation and current member of the Board of Governors for the Chamber of Commerce

·     Richard Alexander is a member of the 2007 Leadership Jacksonville Program

·     The firm attorneys and staff are sponsors in Rally Jacksonville’s “Rally Readers” Program and have partnered with a child care center for the past two years

LEGAL PROFESSION

·     Howard Coker is the Past President of The Florida Bar and the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers Association

·     Jake Schickel is a member of the Florida Bar Board of Governors and past member of the Florida Bar Foundation

·     Jake Schickel is a Past Chairman and committee member of the Florida Bar’s Board of Legal Specialization and Education 

·     Howard Coker is currently the President of the Florida Supreme Court Historical Society, and Charter Member and Past President of the Jacksonville Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates

·     Charles Sorenson is the Past President of the Jacksonville Trial Lawyers  Association

·     Charles Sorenson is currently the Treasurer for of the Jacksonville Chapter of  the American Board of Trial Advocates.
